The 5th generation BackLED M CP HF LED module chain from Inventronics is designed to deliver bright, uniform, and reliable illumination across a wide range of applications and installation conditions – including environments with increased safety and regulatory requirements.

Developed for professional signage and architectural lighting, BackLED M CP HF combines flexible system design, high efficiency, and long-term reliability. With a variable module pitch from 60 to approximately 200 mm and the patented Square Lens technology from Inventronics, the system ensures a smooth, homogeneous light pattern for lightbox depths between 60 and 200 mm – without visible hotspots or shadowing. This makes it the ideal solution for projects where visual consistency, performance, and safety are equally important.

Flexible design meets high performance
The LED chain consists of 40 compact LED modules, each equipped with two high-performance LEDs, connected by flexible cables for easy handling and fast installation. The system is fully compatible with Inventronics OPTOTRONIC constant-voltage LED drivers and dimmers, allowing seamless integration into existing lighting setups. With color consistency within 3 SDCM and a wide range of CCT and color options, BackLED M CP HF enables precise lighting design and consistent visual results – even across large illuminated surfaces.

Efficient, safe and built to last
BackLED M CP HF delivers a high module efficacy of up to 135 lm/W, helping to reduce energy consumption while maintaining excellent brightness. Backside injection technology provides a high level of protection, resulting in an IP66-rated system suitable for demanding indoor and outdoor environments.

As an HF (halogen-free) LED module system, BackLED M CP HF is specifically designed to meet modern health, safety, and building guideline requirements. By eliminating halogen-containing materials, the system prevents the release of toxic and corrosive gases in the event of a fire, significantly improving safety in hazardous or enclosed applications. This makes it particularly suitable for public buildings, commercial spaces, and installations where fire safety, environmental responsibility, and regulatory compliance are critical.

In addition, the use of halogen-free materials contributes to improved product reliability and longevity, while the selected UL-94 V0 flame-retardant materials further enhance fire resistance. Designed for long-term operation, the LED modules achieve a lifetime of 50,000 hours (L80/B10) at Tc = 70 °C and are backed by a 5-year warranty at Ta = 70 °C.
