Keeping software, apps and firmware up to date is essential for ensuring optimal system performance, security and compatibility. This applies not only to the mobile application, but also to the firmware of all associated controllers.

Regular updates provide:

  • Enhanced cybersecurity protection
  • Compatibility with new features and system enhancements

To ensure continuous system reliability, we strongly recommend enabling automatic updates on mobile devices and regularly checking controller firmware versions.

New features in the updated app
The renewed app introduces significant functional improvements and expanded controller support:

  • Updated Inventronics branding, including new app logo and splash screen
  • Merging group control allowing multiple controllers on the same LAN to be combined
  • Support for up to 8 controllers per merging group
  • Support for multiple merging groups within the same network
  • Reordering of controllers within a merging group via drag and drop
  • Automatic connection to a favorite merging group or an individual controller
  • Support for the Inventronics DALI PRO 2 IoT controller (EAN: 6977078993692)
  • Updated license information, privacy agreement and terms of use

Bug fixes and performance enhancements

  • Resolved RGBW control issue for DT8 devices on DALI PRO C-4 RTC controller
  • Corrected Tunable White (TW) jog wheel functionality:
    – CCT values now correctly displayed in Kelvin
    – Warm/cool color representation adjusted for accuracy
  • Migration to the new MAUI 8 framework
  • Improved app-to-controller connection stability
  • Enhanced user interface for improved usability and user experience

Enabling automatic updates
To ensure apps and firmware remain updated with the latest security patches and features, we recommend enabling automatic updates on mobile devices.

For iOS (App Store)

  1. Open Settings on your device.
  2. Scroll down and tap App Store.
  3. Under Automatic Downloads, enable App Updates.

For Android (Google Play Store)

  1. Open the Google Play Store app.
  2. Tap your profile icon in the top-right corner.
  3. Select Settings > Network preferences > Auto-update apps.
  4. Choose Over any network or Over Wi-Fi only, depending on your preference.

Keeping automatic updates enabled ensures your applications remain secure and operate at optimal performance.
